Katzenmutti died on Wednesday, March 23rd 2005. She had been very sick for months.

She had been the mother of Chiarus, Charlotter, Batrulbutur, Schweinchen, Thommy, Ariel, Maxim and many many other cats.

In her heart, she has always been a domestic cat, even though she lived almost all of her life as a stray cat. She came to my parents' house only when she was on the brink of death with skin cancer, both of her ears rotten to bloody rags. My parents took care of her, and coddled her up. Unfortunatley, both of her ears had to be removed - it was not possible to save them.

She was small, and fragile in body and mind. It can be seen in the children she bore: with every litter, her children became smaller and weaker. Compare huge Chiarus with poor small Schweinchen. Chiarus is only 3 years older then Schweinchen, but it seems that within these 3 years, Katzenmutti's condition had deteriorated a lot.
