During my first cycle of Gemzar (15th cycle overall).

As it turned out, Gemzar is a nasty thing. It's been absolute murder to my stomach and to my bone marrow.

It does not smell, however, and it doesn't make any bad taste (and doesn't make your urine smell).

As it also turned out, after the radiation, my bone marrow was not in best shape - after all, 2 areas which are critical for bone marrow building were radiated.

So my blood cells were hit very hard by chemo, and were very very slow to regenerate.
That was absolutely not the way I was used my bone marrow to react! - earlier, before radiation, my bone marrow had taken every chemo like it was sugar water...

Also, the tumours suck energy like there was no tomorrow.
I seem to lose a kg a week.

My weight has gone down 25 kg. In March 2004, it was ~85 kg, now it's ~ 62 kg.

Well that sounds worse than it is. Before treatment, my weight was always around 60-65 kg.
