021020.JPG

I received a high-dose chemo (7600 mg cyclophosphamid) on 12th of October in order make my bone-marrow suffer.
It then would release bone-marrow stemm cells directly into the blood (normally, these stem cells remain inside the bones).

The high dose Cyclophosphamid was a terrible nightmare. I tripped badly (saw geometric, rotating landscapes before my inner eye) and threw up two times, in fact until my stomach was empty (then I felt much better actually).

I guess I just received too little fluid to support my kidneys.

On 17th of October, I went back to hospital - my leuko-count was going down like an express elevator.

On 19th of October, I received a cava catheder.

On 22nd of October it was stem cell gain day.

Stem cell gaining is done by use of a dialysis engine - the whole of your blood is filtered about 4 times through this machine. It sucks out not only the stemm cells, but also other vital substances (not a desired effect but this can't be avoided).

I felt like somebody had sucked out my soul after this procedure.

This photo was intended as some sort of joke:
one photo (the one you are looking at) shows me pointing at my cava-catheder, and there was an overlaid text saying "ADSL".
another photo showed me pointing at the veins in my arm, and there was an overlaid text "ISDN".

What it meant was: cava-catheder ("ADSL") has a "high data transfer rate", while Venflon ("ISDN") has a "low data transfer rate".

ahahahaha...;-)
