This recently deceased Loggerhead Turtle came ashore on New Cut, which is the recently restored mid- section of Trinity Island (Terrebonne Parish, LA), and scraped some small holes but no body pits. The next morning it was found dead in the same general area. The back pack is placed behind the old sea creature for scale.
