This was my first visit to New Mexico and my first real experience with fall colors. The Aspens and Cottonwoods were incredible!

New Mexico is a beautiful state with so many different views. I had a whirlwind three days traveling from El Paso to Cloudcroft, Cloudcroft to the Valley of Fire, the Bosque del Apache and finally Socorro all on the first day complete with fresh apples and pistachios. My second day started with an early morning visit to the Bosque del Apache and then traveling to Hillsboro, Silver City, Alma, Reserve, Magdalena and back to Socorro. On my last day in New Mexico, I saw the incredible Salinas Pueblo Missions in Abo, Gran Quivira, and Quarai. I really got a great taste of Southern New Mexico. I can't wait to come back and explore the northern areas. Thanks Mom!
