Priming the New Siding

This is how I spent my day today. We are in the process of replacing the siding that blew off during Katrina. The rest of the workers were on the roof doing the next section of siding while I primed the siding.

Looks like your doing a great job. I guess this is part of the recovery process.
Reminds me of having to rebuild our fallen fence from our last big quake in '89.

And won't that be pretty when it gets done. But such a lot of work. Stiff shoulders tomorrow.

I actually love painting heheh!

I hate painting. You have my sympathy. But it must be nice to be returning things to normal. And if you're anything like me, you would have put this job off forever. Now everything will be brand spanking new.

Ahhh grasshopper, .....reminds me of the movie Karate Kid.
"Hai, Danialson...up, down, ....side to side..side to side."

Hope things get back to normal quite soon Elaine.

A scrub brush :) or perhaps the pressure washer will work.

Looks like you're doing a good job and good weather for it. I have yet to speak to an adjustor and let's don't talk about FEMA. Hey, how are you going to get it off the bricks?
laine8210-Oct-2005 02:25
While it's sometimes nice to get something new, it would have been nicer had it been by choice...ummm, I think you dripped some on the bricks, Elaine :>)

Nice siding, it looks like you don't need to move any ladders. Oh btw you missed a spot!
