Tug on the River through the Bridge Railing

I took this photo as we waited on top of the Huey P. Long Bridge. I wasn't tall enough to take the picture over the railing, but managed to get this tug pushing barges full of grain down the river through the railing.

My cherry tomatoes will be ready to pick tomorrow!

That is one bridge that I will not get out of my car on. Just not much room!!! Get shot.

I've a regular bridge-commute now, but get stuck on the approach, rarely on the bridge. Queued 30 mins to cross today!

The barge is long, but the tug is strong...LOL!! Oh those tomatoes have done well.

I agree. The bridge rail makes a nice frame. This almost looks like a pano. I'm amazed at what those little tugs can pull.

Nice shot through the railing, shorty. See how good it is at times to get stuck on the Huey P. Long bridge.

I second the good frame, and nice shot.

You end up with a cool composition.

You are brave, I remember how you said that was your favorite bridge, not.

Very nice, my eye is drawn to the tall cranes along the riverbank. I remember when flying for Petrolium Helicopters and landing at some of the riverbank sites how much attention needed to be paid to those tall cranes. I like the photograph.

The railing actually makes a nice frame for this image. Great shot. Looks like you have tomatoe something tomorrow. I love tomatoes on bread.
