Lizard

Most lizards run when they see me coming. He just hung around watching me. The lizards are out in force eating all of those darn mosquitoes that have shown up with the warm and rainy weather.

Niiiiiiice Lizard! I hope the chair acts as a vantage point for him to catch even more. Great contrasts.

Just like Autumn already said, the chair in itself is incredible with the composition. That lizard almost appears as if he was placed into the picture to a later time. Very nice contrast against the white chair.

The geometric shapes of the chair stand by themselves as a strong composition but lizard is the surprise that gives this image pop. Nicely framed and captured.

The back part of the seat (?) looks like it's a mouth away to gobble up mr lizard!!

He`s so green and cute! Great capture!

He'd better hurry up and find a nice green background where he can disappear. He sure looks dramatic on the white. I bet to many birds he looks delicious too.

I love to photograph these little guys, but it is a challenge. You did great.
Karen Stuebing01-Apr-2005 10:49
He's pretty and you caught him on an interesting background. Maybe because they're just getting warm, they're more letharic? Snakes are like that here in the spring. They'll sit there and let you shoot them.

I think that would even make a good photo without the lizard, nicely done!

He's so cute & a great green. Looks great on your white chair.

He looks as though he could use a girdle. Ya'll must have a lot of mosquitos! Great image!

I thought the same thing as Dawn. I' hungry! And what's so bad about creatures that eat the 'skeets?? I'd give 1 day of work to see a 'skeeter. He's so cute :~

Nice. You sure have some strange things going on down there!

LOL at Dawn and Don. Great capture here. You couldn't have posed him at a better spot.

Nice composition and contrast. I've been around this particular (reptile) a number of times and have found it to be pretty fearless.
Dave Wyman01-Apr-2005 02:20
Such an interesting composition, initially a found composition, yes, but one you appear to have also carefully crafted.

Good one--a lizard on a southern wrought iron chair!
Guest 01-Apr-2005 01:38
What a cute shot! I think I might need one of those lizards...saw my first mosquito tonight!
don nieman01-Apr-2005 01:24
Nice green color on the lizard with nice contrast to the yogurt covered pretzels. Nice shot.
