Truck Floats

The local pardade was held today in the small town where I live. Instead of the beautiful paper mache floats people decorate 18 wheelers for floats. Each float has a different theme and they compete to be named the most beautiful float. Truck floats also follow the main parades on Mardi Gras day. They are known for the large amount that they throw. I'm off to one of the most beautiful parades in the city tonight with some special friends.

Beautiful float. I can see the bystanders trying to catch something. What a fun time this time of year must be down there.

Looks like this truck float stopped and picked folks up along the way, LOL. Great way to see the parade from inside the float... nice colorful image.
