We went Mardi Gras throw shopping for the different throws for the parade. Each one of these bags hold 5 gross of beads and weighs 30 pounds each. You can buy the beads new at one of the Mardi Gras shops or purchase them from people who advertise in the newspaper. The kids have had many friends drop off beads from years past. We have been sorting and banding the beads into groups of 12. Here is a top view of the bags.
