Blue Pansy

It was a beautiful day today with temperatures in the mid 70's. I just finished planting pansies and snapdragons in the garden. Now I remember why I put up with the hot summers, growing season year round. The flowers have been planted, fertilized and watered, hopefully the weather will cooperate and stay cool.

Amazing you can do this. Here in Minneapolis snow is forecast for Wednesday. I won't see these happy little faces for months!

Very pretty with the water droplets. Pansies are so cheerful.

Were you watering the flowers while taking the picture? Great idea, I like the small water drops in the picture. Very pretty

Wow, flowers year round. Love the color on this and the composition. Focus could be a tad tighter. I might suggest a smaller aperture. Overall a nice image.. I look forward to seeing flowers all winter. <:o)

You do it for all the same reasons as I do Elaine. Your pansies will give you months of colour. They are one of the flowers I believe really do have faces.

Nice. Love those colors, and they look so refreshing covered in water droplets. I am jealous of year round flowers!!
