Arrival of Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Destrehan, LA

The Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial arrived at Harry Hurst Middle School today. It will be open for viewing for the next few days. The students have been researching the Vietnam War and have had the opportunity to meet many Vietnam Vets for both informal discussions and as guest speakers.

I saw the kids going up on the levee and they all had there flags and posters. Wish I could have stayed to watch. Great catch Elaine.
