On a sunny May morning, a baker's dozen of us hit the trail at Borges Ranch in Walnut Creek, to play-act coping with medical emergencies assisted by a doctor on the cell phone. The lingering wildflowers distracted us. Lunch was capped off by a demo of a triangular bandage. This was the Northern California Explorers Club chapter at play.
