I take the Vallejo ferry from San Francisco while Tom sails the Saturday race to Vallejo with the Singlehanded Sailing Society. On this overcast afternoon, we actually get a bit of rain in the North Bay before the clouds clear late in the day. We enjoy the social gathering, looking at boats, checking results, supper at the yacht club. On Sunday I sail as crew photographer. This is the first race for Cloud, our Far Harbour 39, to finish.
