2008 Waves to Wine MS Ride

Thirty-something cyclists from Bayer HealthCare, friends, and family rode the 2008 fundraising ride for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Some of us work at Bayer in Emeryville, where Betaseron is made - one of the medications for MS. We started at 7AM in San Francisco and rode 77 miles - across the Golden Gate Bridge, up Highway 1 through Stinson Beach, Pt. Reyes Station, Marshall, paused at Nick's Cove for lunch, then headed inland to Rohnert Park. Some rode farther, some shorter. On Sunday, up early and back on the road again - 50 or 75 miles more, through Sonoma County's farms and vineyards. Wave to the wine, now! And yes, we did raise money for the NMSS - $16,000 at last count.
