Photos show the custom underframe and details applied to these two Soho HO scale brass Harriman era 60' passenger coaches. The work was performed my Clyde King. The original floors of the models were plain flat brass with no details other than a brass box representing the battery box. Clyde built up the underframes using Evergreen Models styrene I beams and channels, also the intermediate floor stringers. He then added Cal Scale and Precision Scale Co. parts as necessary. The large battery boxes are scratchbuilt parts, not commercial. The two cars belong to a client who had already painted the cars, just wanted the underframes to look better, this after having seen the work I did on the six Ken Kidder brass cars I built for another client - those are viewable in another gallery on my Pbase site.
