This week I received my True Line Trains HO scale Canadian National wood caboose. I had pre-ordered the model several months ago and am really pleased with its appearance, even better than I expected! Nicely done details, scale coupler and coupler pocket, semi-finescale wheels, and all for less than $40 bucks! TLT is also producing Canadian Pacific wood cabooses -- I have one on order. CN isn't really a railroad that I model, but I do like their early diesel paint schemes and the large Maple Leaf herald. Below are a few photos of the caboose, and also my Proto 2000 Canadian National GP7. I have not dressed-up any details on the loco other than install Kadee couplers. Truck sideframes will be replaced with Athearn's #42009 Blomberg B sideframes.
UPDATE: Photos 12 thru 19
I added the marker lights on the caboose (comes with the model) and changed the truck sideframe on the loco to Athearn's 42009 Blomberg Bs.
