The morning's landing is at 14th of July Glacier. We're all about puffins at this landing site, and despite warnings that we might have to look hard, we find them in abundance. After a cruise by the puffing nesting area, we stop for a short hike up to the face of a glacier.
The afternon stop is at Blomstrand Island in Kongfjord, the site of an abandoned marble quarry. A hut, still used by researchers, and some equipment is all that's left.
