When spring begins, the sky for large fields is scarce and the epoch of galaxies and globular clusters begins.

Messier 3 is a brilliant and representative sample of globular cluster in the constellation of hunting dogs.

Less remarkable than Messier 13, however, it is a beautiful and impressive object when viewed at half magnification.

This image is my return to astrophotography 10 years after having decided to stop for work priorities.
