I am just about to head for India for the first time, and seeing all these terrific pictures from Evren again is daunting as well as a huge inspiration, because for my money these are among the very best work ever to come out of India. Honest.

I've just discovered your work, and it is a pleasure to see. Your work reminds me of that of Steve McCurry, im sure the great man himself would be proud to have taken some of your shots. You have a great understanding of colour and composition, not only that but you show a connection with your subjects thats not easy to capture.

Evren, your pictures get better as we see them again. There is an open-ended quality about them, it's as if these scenes keep happening, not frozen from a past trip. Really inspiring!

Back from Indonesia now, and a great pleasure to visit your gallery.
Here we can see how original is your work, mix of superb colors, original framings , but all this research about form is not formal, it's to communicate feeling, that's the main point.
Pbase is the good place to see if the oictures of somebody are only accumulation or if each one participate to create what I call an oeuvre.
You did it, no doubt...V
