Overbruggen

Een serie tweeluiken waarmee ik ben afgestudeerd aan de Fotovakschool in Rotterdam. Gestart als architectuurserie, maar ver daarvoorbij geëindigd... A series of diptychs as my graduation projects for Fotovakschool in Rotterdam. Unfortunately the Dutch title doesn't translate very well in English. 'Overbruggen' may be read as 'bridging' or 'about bridges'. Started as architectural series, it ended ways beyond architecture...

Hi Ernst, this is an intriguing series. I see you constantly making the crossing and looking back and forward, which explains for the dramatic differences in light and contrast. Metaphorically for me this is about personal views of where one is coming from and going to. In English I'd call the series "With hindsight".
