No need to convert to B+W, on this dull day there seems to be a total lack of colour.
How different will that be within a few weeks time, as the carnaval is in full swing... ;-)
Built 1659-1685 by Pieter Post. This is a very symmetrical building to reflect the dual authority with both the Prince-Bishopric of Liège and the Duchy of Brabant (Dutch States General from 1632) holding joint sovereignty over the city.
Both resided at opposite sides of the building.
