The herring season is about to get into full swing. The beaches are littered with anticipating
eagles, Black Brant, gulls by the thousands, and in the water the sea lions and seals await.
Waiting for the seals and sea lions are, of course, the Orca. This time of year
is a food smorgasbord in the waters off the beaches of Vancouver Island.
