Some days you just can't plan. We'd been out all day and visited many of our favourite shooting sites looking for wildlife. Sightings were on the scarce to 'where did they all go?' side. Dusk was nearing so we headed towards home. Driving along the beach we saw three eagles just finishing their evening meal and a battle in the skies ensued. It was a scene to remember....we took many shots, thanks to higher iso settings some images registered on the sensor, unfortunately the battle scenes were well into dusk and most of the event will only survive as an incredible story. The image below is as good as it got.
