This is the second owl we've seen this spring, an all time high for us. Needless to say, it was a real surprise when we spotted it and there was lots of excitement while we were juggling for cameras and shooting spots! Barred Owl facts: While most other owls have yellow eyes, the Barred Owl has brown eyes.
