The grass was covered with dew, there were small puddles to play in and this Black Swan cygnet was enjoying the process of discovering all the damp places it could explore. Black Swan facts: The cygnets are greyish/brown in colour with pale edging on their feathers. After 3 - 4 weeks their new feathers begin to grow and the young swans quickly learn to swim and feed themselves. ~ The Animal Files
