Sunshine seemed to be the goal of this group (bale) of Red Eared Slider Turtles that I spotted on a recent field trip with our photography club. Turtle facts: When they find a really good basking site, Sliders will stack one on top of the other to compete for the “hot spot”. I counted at least nine that had crowded on top of the favourite log in this pond.
