Canada Geese are a normal sight here on the Island, but one never tires of watching a flock of them landing on the local marshes, lakes and rivers. This was late in the afternoon and I caught these as they were settling down for the evening feed. Canada Geese, like most waterfowl, eat aquatic vegetation, grass, roots and young sprouts. They also eat grain and corn from agricultural areas.
