The American White Pelican is the official mascot of Klamath Falls, Oregon. We were anxious to get some shots of these unusual birds and weren't disappointed. They are easily sighted in the lakes, ponds and rivers of the region, but it isn't all that easy to get a good shot. Any all white object is a challenge and white birds fall right into that category. After a little fiddling with my camera settings I was able to zoom in on this trio relaxing in the lake.
