This is another Okanogan lookout hike from late July 2005. A road leads all the way to the top but the road was gated prior to that and a herd of hundreds of heifers kept watch over the road and so what was supposed to be a driveup became an easy offtrail hike. This lookout apparently is being renovated and may be reactivated however I did not see much in the way of signs of ongoing maintenance. Views were a bit thin, this mountain is East of Twisp and really into the lower elevation rolling forested hills of the Okanogan which are not as scenic as some other locales.
