These are some photos from a hike to the Mt. Fremont Lookout in July 2003. It was a cloudy day and at about 7000 feet of elevation that meant walking in the clouds. It's the same as walking through fog which can be a nice effect but it meant no big views on this day. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of this hike was the wildflowers. Snow was just barely melted out with a few patches left and the temps were fairly cool. The landscape is fairly rocking but you'd see paintbrush or whatever just sprouting out of nowhere with flashes of color:
