L.T. Murray Wildlife Area - Jacob Durr Road

I was going to visit Umtanum Ridge via the old Durr Road from the Northwest side. I didn't quite have the nerve though to drive across the creek halfway up the road so I had to retreat. However, I did get a few photos along the road of the flowers since it was spring at the time, April 2004. The pictures:

The Jacob Durr Road is of great interest to me, as Jacob was my Great Grandfather. I was fortunate to have rode the full length a few years ago. Some of the view's are breathtaking (or the high grade it takes). There is some real good reading about it in the Ellensberg Library. Thanks for the revisit! Bud Engelhardt
