Thanks for the correction. I've retitled it as a moraine which is of course the proper term for the Railroad Grade. My recollection was that the moraine formed the Western edge of a cirque of which you can see a bit in the foreground to the left of the Railroad Grade. But perhaps it is not really a cirque, I don't have a better picture in that direction to tell so maybe it is time to head back up to Baker.

Actually, this photo is of the crest of Railroad Grade, which is a moraine (linear pile of glacial rubble, or till), formed by the Easton Glacier during the Little Ice Age (about 150 yr ago). The only clear cirque in the photo is in the middle ground, just past where Railroad Grade moraine bends to the left.
