These are photos from a hike along the Boulder River trail in February of 2004. This is a nice winter hike through forest along the stream with a couple of views of waterfalls. In Washington, there are a limited number of snow free hikes in winter time and most of them involve either beach or lowland forest. Lowland forests tend to be second growth or just less scenic in general but this was pretty nice forest. The pictures:
