It is really something to stand beneath these sunsets and watch people in uncoordinated wardrobes and the self-absorbed among us become awe-struck and perfect for a few minutes. Cell phones don't even seem to ring at these moments ;-) g
That is one of those sunsets that happen down by the bluffs. The ocean cooled and painted sky goes flat to an inversion layer over the ocean, comes to shore and gets hit by thermals and the updraft of the bluffs. The whole event reminds me of a beautiful long haired Navajo woman on the back of a vintage Harley blazing down a long desert highway. Very 'Bryce' like. It is really something to stand beneath them and watch poorly dressed and selfish people become awe-struck and perfect for a few minutes ;-)
Very clever Erich. Did Dascha like this shot? Thanks - g

WOW! What a rosy view. The sky alone is worth my vote but I do like the UFR. As Shakespeare put it, "A rose by any other name can fly?"
