This year I sort of took it upon myself to be the "official" photographer of the White Rose formal. I spent some time beforehand practicing and buying some extra equipment for the event. I came, I saw, I shot. Over the past week, I've been cleaning up and touching up the photos I took, and now I'm done. Please be kind. I wasn't even a photographer a year ago, and this event was my first experience working with a flash (rather prefering not to use one). I made many, many technical mistakes. The greatest mistake, in my opinion, is not getting nice couple shots like we usually do. All of my shots are informal, and I now realize I missed some people. I'm very sorry and I hope someone else captured your moment in the camera and will share.
HERE ARE THE RULES:
All of these are smaller resolution, partially compressed to save space (I have limited space on the server). Filenames with "alt" in them signify that I applied more heavy editing to the photo and I have an unedited version on my computer. I have a backup of all original files on a separate portable hard drive. These are my photos. I give them to the participants of the event and
chapter freely. But don't do stupid stuff like selling my stuff for profit, etc., etc. I still hold the copyright.
If you would like to see the unedited version, let me
know the filename and I can e-mail it to you.
If you would like the original-resolution image, let me
know the filename and I can e-mail it to you.
If you think my light editing is horrible, you can
request I send you the original, unedited version from
my separate portable hard drive.
If you spot something that could use improvement (such
as redeye that I missed), and are interested in keeping
that photo, let me know. I will fix it and make the new
version available.
PRINTS:
I might not be the best person for prints. If someone else would like to volunteer and handle printing, charging a small fee to cover materials, printer maintenece, and shipping, please step forward. I can provide the printer with all of the originals.
