This is a picture of my dining room ceiling light. I tried really hard but I could not move the camera fast enough to isolate the pulses. Possibly this is because the bulbs I'm using in this room are "natural light" bulbs that are more pleasing to the human eye. They give off a whiter light for sure, but perhaps they smooth out the flicker too (flickering can cause headaches in some people). Very curious. I'll see if I can stretch the light out more later.
The "orbs" in this photo are dirt and smudges on my lens. I double-checked my lens afterwards to be sure that was the correct analysis. Normally smudges on the lens are practically invisible, but in this case I had the aperture unnaturally stopped down which "sharpens" objects near (or on) the lens. No flash was used.
