expanding its Digital SLR camera range of products, particularly targeting the advanced
users with keen interest and flair for photography. Complementing the launch of the Digital SLR camera α7001 are three specialized Sony lenses, which are also compatible with the α100 Digital SLR camera.

The new lenses, DT18-250mm F3.5-6.3 (SAL18250) ultra high magnification zoom lens,
DT16-105mm F3.5-5.6 (SAL16105) high performance standard zoom lens and DT55-
200mm F4-5.6 (SAL55200) compact telephoto zoom lens, cater to varying photographic
needs of Sony α users. These lenses, the newly launched Sony α700 Digital SLR camera and
the existing range of lenses together offer a complete set of photographic equipment for
Sony’s target customers who are aspiring to achieve an advanced photo-shooting experience.

DT 16-105mm F3.5-5.6 (SAL16105) High Performance Standard Zoom Lens
This high performance lens is equipped with unique zoom range that spans from wide angle
16mm to mid-telephoto 105mm. The lens comes with a compact, lightweight design even
with 6.6x magnification. It makes it easy to compose large-scale landscape shots with the
super wide angle. To meet the needs of the advanced users, it has a high quality optical
design with an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) Glass element that reduces chromatic aberration
especially in telephoto range. The two aspherical elements reduce various aberrations and
flaring. Other features include: internal focus for fast AF, flower-shaped bayonet hood and circular aperture for beautiful background defocusing.

DT 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 (SAL18250) Ultra High Magnification Zoom Lens
It is designed for all kinds of users – from beginners to advanced users. The lens comes with a compact and lightweight design with an ultra wide zoom range from wide angle 18mm to telephoto 250mm. It has high close-up capability with the highest maximum magnification, 0.29x, in its class of lenses. It also comes with improved features including: faster AF speed, metal lens mounted and zoom lock function.

DT 55-200mm F4-5.6 (SAL55200) Compact Telephoto Zoom Lens
This compact and affordable telephoto zoom lens is designed for avid advanced users with
3.6x telephoto from 55mm to 200mm. It is portable and easy to handle with high close-up
capability of 0.29x for maximum magnification.
