Boy throwing rocks
Alex doing what boys have always done when they encounter a big body of water - try to fill it with rocks.
I liked this one better in b/w because it has a timeless feel to it.

Goalie
First shot with the new 70/300 lens... I had to stand pretty far away to get this one.

Rose macro
The best of my first attempt at macro photography.

Daisies in Toronto park
Originally I didn't like this photo, but isolating the colour made it more interesting - I was trying to draw attention to the arc of flowers.

Tulip patch
This picture has a better feel with the watercolor effect - more of what it was really like to be there.

NY Harbour Skyline
A film grain effect on a vintage b/w version of a NYC skyline picture I took from the Staten Island ferry. Going for the 1920's look - and managed to keep out too many inappropriate buildings, I hope.

Times Square, 12:30am
The quantity of people (probably all tourists like us) in Times Square at that time of night... pretty crazy.
Again, the watercolor effect, just to bring out more vivid colours.

Brooklyn Bridge
A vintage treatment on my version of the standard Brooklyn Bridge photo.

Rowboats in Central Park
An interesting little water park in the middle of Central Park, NYC.

Broadway
The street sign was crooked... showing a bit of wear and tear, a bit like the city.

Brooklyn Bridge wires
A retro treatment on a view of the west tower of the Brooklyn Bridge. Straight out of the 1960s.

Four sunsets
The sunset on four different days, all taken from the marina near my house.
