The thing that I wonder about is that the satellite dish is still there. I've seen that on other vacant houses as well. Don't the companies want to reclaim their equipment when the customer leaves?

Another home that was probably very pretty, just left to rot away. So sad that this is allowed to happen. I agree that the satellite dish is a mystery...maybe it costs more to go get it than it does to leave it? Maybe there are squatters enjoying the internet?

I like the bits of warm light hitting the wood on the windows and the piece of glass (?) on the door especially. A duplex? Terrific find, Eldred - and yes, a mystery about the satellite dish.
