Since 1910, the City of Orange has held an 'International' Street Fair on Labor Day weekend. The nationalities represented reflect the mix of immigrants who settled Orange in the late 19th century. The Plaza circle is cordoned off, all sorts of booths sell ethnic food and drinks, bands play, people dance (Irish, Greek, German, etc.) and there are crafts vendors around Plaza Park. There is a kids section also with rides and games. Most of the money made supports local charities.
