The charm of this rose is that it starts out delicate pink, and as it ages, it deepens to a dark red. Then the petals just cleanly drop away - a 'self-cleaning' rose. ALso - it is a 'Bermuda Mystery Rose', named after a schoolteacher on the island of Bermuda who would give away cuttings.
