Bukit Timah Hill is adjacent to the cental catchment area of Singapore, a lake-and-forest area
in the heart of the main island. Bukit Timah hill is covered by primary rainforest. It can be
visited during daytime via rocky pathways. Everywhere in the place the sound of critters
can be heard. Also birds such as cukoos are heard, though hard to spot.
During the first week of October I visited the hill of Bukit Timah four times. Here are some of the observations.
