Yes, these photos are from my first day out with an SLR. I think (and hope) I have improved a bit since then. For me, I keep these up because it's fun to remember hiking around Chapel Hill all day snapping photos and getting lost in the woods for 4 hours. Also, it was my first time with manual focus. So, please be amazed if anything in the photo IS in focus. :)
