May, 2004: Photos taken on a commercial walking tour of Munich that focused on important sights from the early days of Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party, along with some sights of historical importance after Hitler took power in 1933. I highly recommend the tour if you are interested in the history of this period. We had a very knowledgable and personable young German graduate student tour guide named Christian. He tied the history of what we were seeing with the upcoming 60th anniversary of the D-Day Landings at Normandy. The weather was cold and wet, so we had Christian to ourselves.
