Hi, welcome to the englishmens visiting this site. If you're here, you surely heard about the story of those 5 boys in the wind who make a great tour in south GB during august 2015. Everything began in may 2015, during a meal between friends in Toulouse, around a good bottle of wine...as usual in France ;-)
Patrice, Alain and I decided to go to England, visiting our friend Fix, living in Bristol since july 2014. The plan is quiet simple : a ferry in Ouistreham, arriving in Portsmouth. Then we'll go to Cornwall...or everywhere else the sun is shinning. Fix join us by car. We "only" asked him to find few fields to practice our passion.
As we use to say in France "happiness never come's alone" : 3 brand new machines will follow us, the TREX from RULTRALIGHT, full titanium frame and MOSTER SILENT powerfull engine.
Of course, booking a trip a 4 days trip in GB 3 month before in order to fly with paramotor is a risky bet ! There's certainly a god for paramotorists : the sun was shinning bright on the port of Portsmouth this 16th of August.
Surfing the net, Fix found a guy in Exeter, ready to meet those 5 frenchmens, Dan BURTON. As I said earlier, happiness never come's alone, so Rupert BURTON and Richard WHITMARSH accompanied Dan.
2h30 driving after a night on the floor of the boat, trying to sleep are not enough to stop 5 boys in the wind.
The first flight was only 18 mn to discover the Exe river and England's sky, one small leap for mankind, one great flight for me ;-)
During those 3 days I totalize not less than 5 hours in the england sky.
