Went down Saturday and came back sunday. Spent saturday morning and early afternoon driving the Bronx. Saturday afternoon got the grand tour of the Rock, the training academy. Got to shoot lots of apparatus shots. Then back to the Bronx Saturday night and caught a laundry fire we were 1st due for, but wasn't much. We stopped at 68/49 on Ogden Avenue near Yankee Stadium. We met up with Nate DeMarse of 49 Truck and had a top notch steak dinner. We stayed till about 11 then headed to the Hotel in Greenpoint Queens.

Sunday morning we stopped at the NYPD Communications Division in Queens and photographed some command posts and new ESU trucks. As we were leaving Queens there was a fire in the Bronx on the Concourse we went to. The fire was out when we got there but we stopped for some photos. We also got to meet Louie Amoroso of Squad 61 who posed with his crew and Patrick for a photo op. It was a great trip and we can't wait to go back.
