Copernicus

Copernicus is one of the moon's best-known craters. It is about 93 kilometers across and is about 3700 meters deep. It features a terraced rim and central mountain peaks up to 1200 meters high. This photo was taken with an Imaging Source DMK AF31 firewire camera, a 10-inch Newtonian and a 16mm Brandon eyepiece.
