Total lunar eclipse 27 October 2004. 137 separate images used to make this. That 'hop' near the end is because I was worried about the moon dropping too low and leaving the frame.

Hello Bert! Manfred is a neighbor of mine. I didn't know of his interest in photography until I saw his work at the fair. When he told me he usually enters something in the woodcarving exhibit I said, 'You must know Bert Black then!" Small world, isn't it? This animation is something I've wanted to try for a while, it was easier than I thought it would be.

Ed, You computer geeks with digital eguipment make us amatuers look amateur! Non the less that is great representation of a neat eclipse. Manfred Laner (one of out wood carvers) said he watched the eclipse with you. Manfred is a very talented artist. BTB
