I like First Contact. I also use other methods to clean mirrors. I did this kind of work
professionally for decades and I'm comfortable with my methods. That said,
I've had some ... 'discussions'... with others on Facebook that don't agree with
how I do it. Not going there anymore, you can search the interwebs for other ways
of cleaning mirrors. That plastic ring around the mirror is what holds it in place,
I was unable to easily remove it and didn't want to get medieval with it so I used
First Contact. I was unable to get a good photo to show it, but there was indeed what
appeared to be pine pollen on the mirror. Once the First Contact cures it will
easily peel off, leaving a nice clean mirror. I don't run it all the way to the
edge as it has a tendency to stick to the plastic ring and make removal more difficult.
I'll clean the perimeter of the mirror with one of my other methods.
